How do events and strategies evolve during a game? Particularly an epic game?
As a rough guide: Early Game (up to turn 8 or 9): controlling own regions, artifact acquisition or poaching. Heavy noble use. Midgame: (turn 9 to 16) Resource trading becomes uneven: if supplies are expensive then vilalge raiding gets frequent. Agents more active; militaries get larger; in a cheap supplies game armies get even more so. Endgame: Opportunity to eliminate foes; agents are potentially game-changing; can often assassinate any noble, steal unprotected artifacts, reduce most fortesses in sufficient numbers. |

Mine usually goes:
Turns 1-6 Build up military Turns 7-12 Take control of region, build up military and PC production Turns 13-24 Get all ADD about my original plan and wander about aimlessly killing whatever gets in my way |

Since Sancus is not revealing his stage plan, I am not going to reveal mine either.
Well, what the heck, I don't really have a stage plan. This game is like 'Rock, Paper, Scissor', each plan has some advantage and some vulnerability. My stage plan is to guess the enemy's stage plan, and then form my stage plan based on that. |
