Just wondering...
Why do the periodic reins include only troops and leaders? Why are there no nobles or agents, or priestess for that matter? Seems to me, lack of nobles is a real problem in the endgame and tends to make the game too linear. Influence plays a far too small part in the game as it draws to an end. I believe this needs to be fixed as the cost to raise influence is far too high to be of little value at game's end. Suggestion for this game, or Arcania (hint, hint) Let each nation have a default rein level for troops, leaders, nobles and agents. When the rein turn comes, each nation would receive reins based upon its nation's attributes. For example, a mage based nation might have a rein default for few troops but good mages. A military nation might get no mages, but lots of troops or a few good troops. Plus, why not give nations the ability the improve its recruitment ability? Thus, the aforementioned mage nation could invest gold/supplies to increase the troop reins or noble reins, or whatever it chose. |

We've got something along those lines for KoA in mind, Nehemiah.
